Review: Hawkeye

Hawkeye may not be the most anticipated Marvel show to hit Disney+, but it’s one of its best.

Jeremy Renner reprises his role as the skilled archer Clint Barton in a post-Thanos world. Like the other Disney+ shows surrounding your favorite marvel characters, Hawkeye is another deep dive into the man behind the arrow.

This story isn’t just Clint’s; it’s also late Bishops. Kate is a wealthy girl with a flair for archery, among other hidden talents. While this character may be new, Hailee Steinfeld makes you fall in love Within minutes of meeting her. She is sarcastic, stubborn, and just plain awesome. Honestly, I can’t see anyone else more perfect for this role. Steinfeld’s comic timing adds to her already glowing personality and meshes well with Jeremy Renner’s stoic nature.

The to meet in what could be described as the most Marvel way ever embark on a journey that will be connected in the next phase of the Marvel universe.

Out of all the Disney Plus shows, Hawkeye honestly feels the most like a Marvel movie. From the cinematography to the stunning action sequences, it’s jampacked with everything you would expect from the universe. It doesn’t feel like you’re watching a TV show at all. It’s honestly going to be hard waiting to watch it every week because you feel like you’re sitting in a movie theater watching what happens. That being said, it makes for the perfect binge-watching experience.

If you are a Marvel fan, the show will not disappoint you. I went in with very high expectations, and every single one of them was not only met but exceeded. Hawkeye may even be my second favorite marvel show (WandaVision is still holding that number one spot), and I’ve only seen two episodes.

Another home run for Marvel on the Disney Plus streaming service. Hawkeye looks and feels just as big as Marvel movie. Hailee Steinfeld shines in the role of Kate Bishop and will surely be a force in the next phase of the Marvel universe.

Incredibly awkward. Fantastically sarcastic, and very, very small. Lover of movies, musicals, & TV.
