Wynonna Earp Comic-Con@Home Panel Recap

With a lot of help from the fans, Wynonna and the gang are finally back after two long years. And Eager Earpers are patiently waiting to see what happens to our favorite team of revenant fighters.

During the Comic-con at home panel showrunner Emily Andras and cast members Melanie Scrofano (Wynonna Earp), Dominique Provost-Chalkley (Waverly Earp), Katherine Barrell (Nicole Haught) Tim Rozon (Doc Holiday), and Varun Saranga (Jeremy Chetri) virtually gathered to tease the show ahead of its premiere.

Fans who just needed a little something extra were treated to an exclusive scene from the premiere.

It opens with a hilarious montage of Wynonna trying to find the perfect weapon since she no longer has Peacemaker ( her magical gun used to send demons back to hell). She teams up with Sheriff Nedley (Greg Lawson) to find the magical stairs where both Waverly and Doc disappeared into at the end of season 3.

After an unsuccessful attempt, which includes Wynonna falling on her face, the scene cuts to poor Waverly chained up and screaming for Wynonna.

The cast had some fun during the panel with trivia about their friends. There was also a segment where everyone had a chance to impersonate the way Doc iconically says, “Wynonna Earp.”

There were also some intriguing fan questions answered. Showrunner Emily Andras admitted during one that she didn’t know what would have happened to Kat’s character Nicole after her six-episode arc was up. She immediately saw the chemistry between Kat and Dominique and knew there was something special. Andras did mention she would have never killed that character off.

Not much about season 4 was given away during this panel. But we know one thing, the show now has a 10 pm time slot. And as Emily Adreas teased, you can expect it to be more mature. But never fear, she promised our favorite demon fighters will be just as goofy as ever, even if you can expect a more violent and sexy show.

You can finally catch the Season 4 premiere of Wynonna Earp on SYFY July 26th at 10 pm.
