is now bringing the magic of the stage to Disney+.

With the success of professional recordings like “Hamilton” and “Newsies,” theater is becoming more accessible to audiences through streaming services. Sometimes a show doesn’t come to your city, or you may not be able to travel to Broadway. With these proshots, you can experience the spectacle of stage musicals and possibly ignite an interest in theater.

“Frozen: The Hit Broadway Musical” is a full-length stage show filmed in London’s West End, featuring Samantha Barks as Elsa and Laura Dawkes as Anna. The production is beautifully captured, making you feel as though you are sitting in the front row of the orchestra. One of the incredible aspects of these filmed performances is the ability to see close-ups of the actors’ faces, but even more importantly, the stunning costumes. Elsa’s iconic gown looks more beautiful than ever, and the magical elements that bring the animated movie to life are truly impressive. Kids won’t be the only ones captivated by the grandeur of the sets and music; adults will be just as awe-struck.

For parents concerned about hearing the same songs, there’s no need to worry. This production features 12 new songs created specifically for the stage. While “Let It Go” remains a showstopper, the new song “Monster” introduces a dramatic element that deepens our understanding of Elsa’s character. It’s also beautifully woven into the score, making it an integral part of the story.
