In theaters, in a big way is No Time to Die, starring Daniel Craig as James Bond. This actor and spy have had a long road with many twists and turns, now Bond finds himself fighting the past and the future as retirement and the ghosts of his past loom. Being pulled back to face-off against the evil and insane of the world, is only a shade of what James must now face. The realities of life creep up and strike real fear into this man of action’s heart. This film is an ending and a full circle, as we get a taste of classic Bond and the shadowy villains he must face. For a grade, I’ll give it a B-.

Next, we jump to Apple TV+ and the new comedy Acapulco. A colorful cast leads this flashback as a man recounts the life and situations that led him to success. This comedy has flavors of your favorite network sitcoms and is shot as such. The one thing you’ll have to note and grow to love, are the subtitles. This show takes place in Acapulco, which means some of the residents choose not to speak english. If you can get through that though, you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the humor and heart of this show. I’ll give it a B+, as its growing on me!

Lastly, we step back into horror with another round of Welcome to the Blumhouse. This time we get 4 new films that explore the dark side of playing Bingo, evil vs the elderly, the darkest imaginable motherhood, vampires in New Orleans and more! With 4 titles under one brand, this is hard to review, I’ll just say that all of these stories are worth the price of admission and an even better deal if you already have Amazon Prime!
