The thriller disguised as a romance follows a young woman who marries a wealthy widowed man. Her romance is cut short when she arrives at her new husband’s estate. There she finds herself battling the shadow of his late wife.
The film is directed by Ben Wheatley and stars Lily James, Armie Hammer, and Kristin Scott Thomas.
