Monk Returns!

Tony Shalhoub returns as Adrian Monk, post-COVID he has recessed even more as life moved on without him. Now on a darker path, we find a depressed man with many issues. He has all but written himself off, when a loved one experiences a dramatic loss that forces him do what he does best.

Time has past since the last season of Monk, finding a killer and his truth did help Adrian at the moment. But moments pass. He loses those close to him and others simply fade away. Finding himself in a dark place, he wants nothing more than be gone from a world that no longer needs him and a life of longing.

His one drive and saving grace, is Molly. The young girl that in his life that became family and finally grew into a strong woman. Set to marry her reporter husband, Molly faces a new dark reality when her fiancé Griffin does under mysterious circumstances. Wanting answers and justice, she pulls Monk from the shadows in hopes that he can deliver the harsh truth that he is so talented at rolling out.

Akward as ever, Adrian Monk is still lovable, in his way. The cast returns to bolster him and move along a simple story that made the original show so lovable. An easy film to put on for fans of the show or something to tune into once all the presents are open.
