Benjamin Wainwright (Cast – Jules Maigret) & Stefanie Martini (Cast – Louise Maigret) talk to us about their new series on PBS as they close in on the Season Finale which airs November 9th. They delve into differences in age and personality in this new reimagining. Looking at their relationship, we can now see the differences between this new series and its predecessors. After multiple mysteries already being solved, we ask Benjamin about the fun of detective shows and finding his “Ah Ha” Maigret face.

We also talked to writer and Executive Producer Patrick Harbinson about his version of Maigret on PBS Masterpiece. He discusses casting choices and why Benjamin was the right choice for this younger thoughtful detective. We also discussed Maigret living a more modern life and leading with intent.
Story: Chief Inspector Maigret and his team of maverick but loyal detectives, “Les Maigrets,” solve a series of complex crimes in Paris. Maigret’s unconventional methods and unique sense of justice put him at odds with his superiors and the judicial system he is supposed to represent. Maigret must outwit some of Paris’s most cunning and violent criminals, while dealing with his own troubled past.
