The Morning Show on Apple TV+ has always been a personal favorite, but this season knocked it out of the park. Many shows tackled COVID this year, but this was the first one that showed it happening from the start and how people genuinely reacted to the virus. On top of that, it had a few stand-out and shocking moments that will have people waiting for the next season.
9. For All Mankind
For All Mankind is a show that turns the tables on history. The First season was stunning, but the second season left me speechless. If you haven’t already, give it a watch, you will not be disappointed.
8. The Sex Lives of College Girls
This was a wonderful surprise. Not only is the humor A plus, but it touches on intense matters in a sensitive and caring way. It also found a way to develop each character fully in just one short season, and all the girls have a stellar connection.
7. Only Murders in the Building
True Crime Podcasts have become all the rage these days. So who better to start one than Steve Martin, Selena Gomez, and Martin Short? This quirky and outlandish comedy was an unexpected gem of the year.
6. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow
This year these time travelers faced aliens and were stranded in the 20s. The show never lost the quirkiness that made fans fall in love and continues to push boundaries and provide a lot of representation.
5. Ted Lasso
Tedd lasso was a show I kept on the backburner for far too long. But as everyone was raving about the second season, I had to see what the hype was about. Now I can’t believe I waited so long to have this piece of perfection in my life.
4. Squid Game
Squid Games was a cultural phenomenon. It took me a while to dive in, simply because I knew I would binge the whole series, and I was right. This show was like eating pringles (you can’t just have one).
3. Hawkeye
There were many Marvel shows that hit Disney Plus this year, and they were all good, but Hawkeye was a fun ride from start to finish.
2. Dickinson
The third and final season of Dickinson just wrapped, and it had one of the best and most poetic (pun intended) endings of all time. I’m sad to see it go, but I’m thankful for the wild nights it gave me.
1. WandaVision
I mean, come on. Did you expect me not to have this at number one? This show was one of the most talked-about of the year! It had everybody playing guessing games and looking for easter eggs. On top of that, it was insanely romantic and heartbreaking at the same time. It was a cultural reset that still has people talking today.
