First-time director Aaron Sorkin discusses influences for Molly’s Game

Writer and now Director Aaron Sorkin talks to us about why he chose to direct and the influences that helped him on this new endeavor.

Molly’s Game, an upcoming drama film written and directed by Aaron Sorkin in his directorial debut, based upon the memoir Molly’s Game: From Hollywood’s Elite to Wall Street’s Billionaire Boys Club, My High-Stakes Adventure in the World of Underground Poker by Molly Bloom. It stars Jessica Chastain, Idris Elba, Kevin Costner, Michael Cera, Brian d’Arcy James, Chris O’Dowd, Bill Camp, Graham Greene, and Jeremy Strong.
